Chito I HPLC Standard

Standard constituents:

• 1 mg N-Acetylglucosamine
• 1 mg Chitobiose,di-N-acetyl
• 1 mg Chitotriose, tr-N-acetyl
• 1 mg Chitotetraose,tetra-N-acetyl

The oligosaccharides are prepared by hydrogen fluoride hydrolysis of chitin. The hydrolysate is subjected to size-exclusion chromatography followed by high performance liquid chromatograpy. The individual chitooligosaccharides thus obtained are mixed to give the standard.

Purity: >90 % of the individual chitooligosaccharides.
